I am experienced in providing therapy to people from a wide variety of social backgrounds and cultures. My particular areas of expertise are as follows:
I work at Kairos, an addictions treatment centre in South London, and I am a sessional therapist at the Priory hospital. I have an MSc in the psychology of addiction and counselling and a post-graduate diploma in the psychodynamics of human development.
To begin with, I offer an initial consultation to all prospective clients. This provides an opportunity for an assessment to be made of the presenting needs and issues of each individual, and then a chance to discuss together the best way forward. This will sometimes involve me suggesting that a different form of therapy or treatment may be better suited to you.
My approach does not consist of a formula applied to all patients, but is uniquely centred around each individual. More details of this approach can be found under the relevant section of the website.
